This Saturn mala has lapis lazuli beads that are hand knotted with faceted quartz counter beads and gold filled accents. The Guru bead drop is a large faceted crystal and it has a dark blue tassel.
This is the standard 108 bead mala composed of 9 sets of 11 beads and then the counter bead. The mala is 28" long with a hanging Guru bead and a 2" blue tassel. It weighs about 3 ounces.
Malas are used to count prayers, japa - repetition of Holy names and mantras, and to keep track of breathing exercises in meditation.
