This Ketu mala has tigereye beads that are hand knotted with larger tigereye counter beads and gold filled accents. The Guru bead drop is a large tigereye round bead and the tassel is a dark brown.The mala is 30" long with a hanging Guru bead and a 2" dark brown tassel. It weighs about 1.5 ounces.
This is the standard 108 bead mala composed of 9 sets of 11 beads and then the counter bead. Malas are used to count prayers, japa - repetition of Holy names and mantras, and to keep track of breathing exercises in meditation.
