Scorpio

Scorpio meaning in Vedic Astrology“I believe each human being has the potential
to change, to transform one's own attitude,
no matter how difficult the situation.”
—Dalai Lama

As a water sign, Scorpio has a deep and strong feeling nature. Scorpios are often passionate, secretive and intuitive.

The Mars energy reflected in Scorpio can go beneath the surface of things and may gain insights into hidden resources. Intuition, sharp intelligence and perceptiveness can make Scorpio a good sign for research and may foster an interest in the metaphysical. The energy of Mars can provide Scorpio with the power to transform and change.

Mars is the ruler of this sign, but he may be slower to take action in Scorpio than he is in Aries. As a fixed sign Scorpio tends to have fixed ideas, and people with planets in this sign often have a hard time letting go. Once change occurs, however, it can be deep and transformative.

Scorpios can be devoted, supportive and loyal to their friends and loved ones.
