Major planetary shifts occurred last month, and we should notice a different energy in June.
Venus is now at the beginning of Aries, allowing us a fresh start after the extended stay in Pisces. Jupiter is becoming more established in Gemini, and the Lunar Nodes recently entered new signs. Mars is entering Leo in June, making Mars quite strong again (for better or worse).
Rahu is transiting Aquarius, and Ketu transits Leo. This shift took place on May 29, 2025 (according to true node). The Lunar nodes will stay in these signs until November 25, 2026. Rahu and Ketu are mainly associated with mass karma, but will also impact us individually.
So, how will their transits affect us overall for the next 18 months?
Rahu is intelligent and can move us forward, breaking through old boundaries and established thinking patterns. In Aquarius, a sign that favors science and philosophy, Rahu wants freedom and independence. During the next 18 months, technology and communication will continue to develop in ways we have never seen before.
Leo is a sign of self, ego, creativity, and leadership. With Ketu in Leo, we may do some soul searching and reject authoritarian leadership.
Ketu transiting Leo wants us to connect more deeply to the soul and to let go of ego consciousness. Who are we truly? The lesson of this transit is to find inner freedom and power, and let go of the need for outer approval.
While Ketu transits Leo, there will likely be sudden changes in leadership around the globe.
The planets are now all situated between Rahu in Aquarius and Ketu in Leo, forming Kala Sarpa Yoga. The Moon is an exception, intermittently breaking Kala Sarpa Yoga during its monthly cycle around the zodiac.
Kala Sarpa Yoga occurs when all of the planets are between Rahu and Ketu. Rahu and Ketu are very influential and release karmic situations. Since Rahu and Ketu are opposites, Kala Sarpa Yoga manifests imbalance and polarity.
On July 21, Mars moves past Ketu, which breaks up the Kala Sarpa yoga.
On June 6, Mars enters Leo. The energy of Mars and Ketu in Leo is a hot combination. Leo is a fire sign, and Mars and Ketu are both of the fire element.
This combination indicates energy and assertiveness. We need to be vigilant, for things can happen suddenly. The closer Mars and Ketu are to one another, the stronger their influence.
They conjunct on the same degree on July 20. Between July 18 and 23, we must be extra vigilant regarding fires and violence. Mars leaves Leo on July 28.
This month, Gemini will be a busy sign with Mercury joining Jupiter between June 5th and June 22. Mercury is comfortable in its own sign, and the Sun also enters Gemini on June 14.
On June 25, a few days after the summer solstice on June 20, a significant new Moon occurs in Gemini. The Sun and the new Moon are together with Jupiter in the same degree in Ardra Nakshatra. The symbol of Ardra is a teardrop, symbolizing the release of emotion and the clarity that follows a storm.
A New Moon is a good time to set an intention. Jupiter’s presence next to the Moon shows that the wisdom of the Guru will guide this intention.
Blessings,
Lina
Jupiter leaves Taurus and is transiting Gemini between May 14, 2025, and June 1, 2026. This particular transit is positive for the air signs, but we need to remember that this is still an intense time astrologically.
It is a significant astrological event when Saturn moves into a new sign. Saturn’s journey through the zodiac is slow, and his influence is deep. So what can Vedic astrology tell us about Saturn’s transit in Pisces?
Astrologically, March and April are likely the most dramatic months in 2025. The first pair of eclipses in 2025 occur in March. And on March 29, the same day as the solar eclipse, Saturn moves into a new sign, Pisces.
