February 2025 will be a very interesting month. It begins with a rare cluster of planets in the early degrees of Pisces.
The full Moon is gandanta in Cancer on February 12. This month, we also see both Jupiter and Mars end their retrograde, resulting in a flurry of activity.
February begins with a rare conjunction of planets in Pisces. The Moon’s 26th nakshatra, Uttara Bhadrapada, runs from 3°20 to 16°40 in Pisces, and the planets - Venus, Rahu, Neptune, and Moon - are on the very same degree at the beginning of Uttara Bhadrapada.
Uttara Bhadrapada is connected to the previous nakshatra, Purva Bhadrapada. Together, these two nakshatras are called “the scorching pair.” They associate with Rudra, the God of Storms, and Agni, the God of Fire.
Saturn is transiting Purva Bhadrapada in Aquarius (aspected by Mars), and Rahu is in Uttara Bhadrapada in Pisces. This energy is stressful and reflected in the fires in Southern California and the tense political climate.
Uttara Bhadrapada's unique power is the ability to bring rain. A good rain would undoubtedly bring relief to many people in California. However, rain can also symbolize our tears when we experience pain, loss, and sorrow.
Pisces can manifest endings, sorrow, and liberation. Planets in Pisces express a desire for healing and soul searching.
Uttara Bhadrapada’s ability to bring release can stir up intense feelings. The deity for Uttara Bhadrapada is Ahir Budhyana, the water serpent or dragon of the deep seas. Ahir Budhyana is also capable of releasing Kundalini powers.
Although Rahu rules over toxins and toxic waste, Rahu can also assist in their removal. Due to fires, war, and pollution, Rahu can aid the world with cleanup and healing.
Neptune in Pisces is compassionate. Love and compassion bring clarity. This is a good time to volunteer, donate, and offer prayers.
Venus, Neptune, and Rahu in Pisces, and the exchange between Venus in Pisces and Jupiter in Taurus, shows creative energy and is very good for artistic pursuits.
This combination of planets in Pisces can bring desires for romance and wealth. The exchange of signs between the exalted Venus in Pisces and Jupiter in Taurus can indeed manifest romance or extreme wealth for some people. However, since Rahu and Neptune are so closely involved with Venus, we must be aware of illusion and manipulation.
Rahu’s desire for power and influence can be toxic. Rahu can then use manipulation, deception, and cunning to achieve desired results.
Neptune rules imagination, ideals, and dreams. But the Neptunian dream can also deceive and betray reality.
Jupiter, the planet of expansion and knowledge, is stationed at 17 degrees Taurus for the entire month and changes gears from retrograde to direct on February 4th.
Jupiter stays in Taurus until May 14.
Mars is direct again in Gemini on February 23, taking an active role in communication and media.
The full Moon on February 12 is gandanta in the last degree of Cancer. The energy of a Gandanta Moon is turbulent, and some people are experiencing fear and a lack of security.
On the same day, February 12, the Sun moves into Aquarius for a month, joining Saturn and Mercury. Sun / Saturn combination reveals profound and conflicting energies.
When the new Moon occurs in Aquarius, on February 27, Mercury enters Pisces.
February ends with five planets in Pisces: Moon, Mercury, Rahu, Neptune, and Venus.
There will be even more planets in Pisces in March. The Sun will move into Pisces on March 14; a Lunar Eclipse will occur on the same day. Saturn will move into Pisces on March 29, the same day a Solar Eclipse occurs there. We’ll dive into this more next month.
Blessings,
Lina
November 2024 is, not unexpectedly, a very intense month. We will see that Mars in Cancer is a major contributor to the drama.
